Brake Rotors

DIXCEL brake rotors, street to high-carbon racing spec — genuine, direct bolt-on fit for your factory hub and caliper.

Which rotor type do I need?

PD-Type — standard replacement, factory-beating precision + anti-rust coating. The no-fuss daily upgrade.

SD-Type — slotted, up to 20% more braking power. Street and sports driving.

FP-Type — heat-treated, high-carbon, built for crack resistance under repeated track heat.

FS-Type — slotted version of FP. High-carbon durability + sharper initial bite.

2-Piece Assembly — floating hub-and-ring. Cuts unsprung weight, resists thermal judder, outer ring is replaceable on its own.

Slotted rotor direction — does it matter?

Yes. One-piece SD/FS rotors: fit in "reverse rotation" (slots pointing forward/upward) for maximum shaving effect. Two-piece rotors: internal cooling vanes decide the direction, not the slots. Get it wrong and you lose cooling efficiency — check with us on WhatsApp before fitting if unsure.

FAQ

Do I need high-carbon (FP/FS) rotors?
Only for regular track days or spirited driving where thermal cracking is a real risk. PD or SD covers daily street use.

Will DIXCEL rotors rust?
The anti-rust coating inhibits surface rust but won't prevent it entirely on cast iron — black finishing on 2-piece rotors wears to bare iron on the pad contact surface. Normal, not a defect.

Are these a direct fit for my factory hub?
Yes, all DIXCEL rotors are bolt-on replacements for factory hub and caliper mounting points.
