DIXCEL Caliper Temperature Indicator Seals (10-Pack)
DIXCEL - Advanced brake tech. Keep your braking system operating safely and efficiently on the circuit with DIXCEL Caliper Temperature Seals. Temperature management is an essential part of track driving, and these convenient stickers allow you to easily monitor the peak temperatures your brake calipers are reaching during a session.
Manufactured from an irreversible temperature-indicating material, the seal permanently changes colour to record the maximum temperature reached. This allows you to detect cooling issues in advance and minimise costly heat-related damage, such as premature brake pad wear, brake caliper opening, and the deterioration or tearing of internal dust boots. Note: When the displayed temperature consistently exceeds 230°C, there is a high possibility of heat damage to your brake components, and we strongly recommend implementing extra cooling measures such as brake ducts.
Installation Guide: For standard 1-piston calipers, attach the sticker directly to the caliper body. For multi-piston calipers (4 pistons or more), please attach the sticker to the piston area on the trailing/outlet side relative to the direction of the disc rotor rotation for the most accurate reading.
